1970 Mohair Jumper
"Playtime. New Cactus Green 1970 Mohair"
THE FIT
The iconic 1970 gets the mohair treatment. The Green 1970 Mohair Jumper oversized, boxy fit designed to sit comfortably away from the body. Spun in a luxury Italian mohair with 1970 intarsia, with subtly ribbed neck hem and cuffs for maximum comfort.
Model is a size 8 wearing a size small, height 5"10.5.
WHY WE LOVE THE 1970 Mohair Jumper
"While messing around on my photocopier I spied the date 1970 printed in the corner of the catalogue I was leafing through. This date looked good. I kept blowing it up, then cut it out and pinned the strip of white paper onto my black jumper. It had a charm, like a cool record cover. I had read somewhere in a Coco Chanel biography, that she advised women to invest in a string of pearls because it reflected a luminescent glow onto the face. What I was looking at made me think of the early New York punk scene, and Patti Smith. This white stripe with the black writing is like a Punk string of pearls."
